In honor of the very first snowfall of the year, I thought I’d give you my two cents about this hyped weather.

First of all there is excitement only if it’s the snowstorm of the year, (it has a Cocteau-feeling to it which makes it feel film noir-romantic) otherwise it’s nothing but a pain in the arse.

Simply said, as soon as the first snowflake hits the ground, flustered fashionistas are on high alert. No more stilettos. No more skin showing. No more cleavage. Flat footwear (ugh!). Mascara melting down your face. Wet frizzy hair. In one word, welcome to Hell.
You’ll basically have to wear for 6 months straight a burqa outdoors in order to protect your beautiful little self from the nasty, invading elements.

Snow and fashionistas definitely don’t mix.
